THE BLURRED BINARY

The Blurred Binary is about perception versus reality and how the two often get mistaken for one another. The opening image shows what appears to be a scene of destruction, but really is a blank slate for creation. Like two sides of the same coin, the boundary between perception and reality is easily blurred. Using quotes from John Berger’s “Ways of Seeing” video, a case is made for how different the two really are. Completed in Processing.
