PARAMETRIC SURFACE

This project was an exercise in understanding parametric design and how to generate a self-supporting structure from a single tile unit. The objective was to produce an interesting surface that clearly shows how the tiles morph and change according to set parameters. Here, the tiles must accommodate a surface that twists and folds on itself while still maintaining continuous and fluid connections from one unit to the next.
