REINTERPRETATION

This project is a structural reinterpretation of Frei Otto’s Mannheim Multihalle. It examines the precedent’s use of a double layer gridshell and applies the same structural logic to a new form. Constrained to a 9”x9” cube, the design is used to define the boundaries of the space while still emphasizing the structure itself.
